Enrico Nicola Mancini nació en Cleveland en 1924 y falleció en Beverly Hills en junio d 1994.

Compositor norteamericano autor d bandas sonoras d cine y exponente dl jazz.

Alcanzó fama por su creación dl tema dl filme ’La Pantera Rosa’, por la que se hizo acreedor d un Grammy. También compuso para series animadas. Sus temas d La Pantera Rosa y A shot in the dark fueron usados para musicalizar los episodios dl clásico dibujo animado d La Pantera Rosa y El Inspector, respectivamente.
